David Bullock, DipPFS

Managing Director & Adviser

David’s career in financial services commenced in 1969 and he established Westcourt Financial Services Ltd in 1991.

Very much the driving force behind our success he continues to build on his reputation for sound, quality advice and many of his original clients still rely on him today.

David is Chairman of Westcourt’s investment committee who have responsibility for decisions made regarding new and ongoing investment of client money.

When time allows, David enjoys playing golf and is currently President at Hallamshire Golf Club.


Matthew Cox, DipFA

Director & Adviser

After starting his career in banking, Matthew joined Westcourt in 2001 and was appointed a director in 2006.

Matthew advises a wide range of both personal and corporate clients on all areas of financial planning. In addition he also provides advice on equity release schemes to all of our clients.

Matthew is a member of Westcourt’s Investment Committee who have responsibility for the management of our clients money and therefore takes a keen interest in worldwide investment markets.

Away from work Matthew enjoys keeping fit, most sports and spending time with his young family.


John Dungworth, DipPFS

Director & Adviser

John joined Westcourt in 1991 and became a director of the company in 1995.

In addition to advising his clients on mainstream financial matters, John has great expertise in Self Administered Pension Schemes and property purchase within pension plans.

Outside work John is a keen golfer and skier.


Mark Gilder, DipFA

Director & Adviser

After university Mark worked at one of the UK’s largest life and pension providers for two years and followed his father’s footsteps joining Westcourt in 2003.

Mark was appointed a director in 2009 and advises clients on a range of matters and has a number of clients that rely on him for providing ongoing advice on tax efficient income in retirement.

Mark is also a member of the investment committee who implement and review Westcourts investment portfolios and meet regularly to discuss investment markets, global investment themes and investment funds.

Away from work, Mark enjoys football, tennis and golf and also spends time as voluntary treasurer of Christ Church Central.
